Infinix has launched its new phone with AI features and GoPro mode
Infinix is bringing its AI suite of features to the new Zero 40 smartphone that also has a GoPro mode. Here are the details you need about the phone.
Infinix has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Infinix Zero 40 5G, in India. In August, the handset was unveiled in select countries alongside the Infinix Zero 40 4G. The Infinix Zero 40 with 5G will be available in India later this week. It’s the first phone to integrate Infinix AI. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, features a triple rear camera system and even gets a GoPro mode.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Price In India
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced in India at Rs 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB edition and Rs 30,000 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The phone is available in three different colours: Rock Black, Moving Titanium and Violet Garden. The phone goes on sale from September 21 in the country.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: All About It
The Infinix Zero 40 5G has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,436 pixels) curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, peak brightness of 1,300 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC powers the phone, including 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It comes pre-installed with XOS 14.5, based on Android 14.
It is built with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, measures at 7.9mm and weighs 195g. The phone has twin Hi-Res DTS speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor for added protection.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G comes with a triple back camera system that includes a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 50MP sensor. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second.
Moreover, GoPro cameras can be connected to the Infinix Zero 40 5G with its built-in GoPro mode. Users can control a paired GoPro straight from their phone or use their phone’s display to see what the action camera sees with the GoPro Quik app attached. With AI Eraser, AI Cutout and other AI-backed functions, this phone is the first to come with Infinix AI features.
The Zero 40 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging. The dual nano SIM-compatible phone supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth and a USB Type-C connection.
