Salman Khan’s Eid release Sikandar saw a significant dip in earnings post-holiday. According to Sacnilk, the film netted Rs. 19.5 crore on Tuesday, after kicking off with Rs. 26 crore on its Sunday debut and climbing slightly to Rs. 29 crore on Eid Monday.
In its first three days, this Eid comeback amassed Rs. 74.5 crore against a Rs. 200 crore budget. On Tuesday (1 April), occupancy stood at 18.91% for afternoon shows, 25.99% for evening shows, and 25.89% for night shows, per Sacnilk.

However, it’s trailing far behind Allu Arjun’s colossal Pushpa 2, the reigning blockbuster. For comparison, Pushpa 2’s Hindi version alone earned Rs. 73.5 crore on its third day, released on a non-holiday (5 December 2024). It dominated the Hindi belt, raking in Rs. 200.7 crore in three days – Rs. 70.3 crore on Day 1 and Rs. 56.9 crore on Day 2.
Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s first on-screen pairing with Rashmika Mandanna and his debut collaboration with director AR Murugadoss, known for directing Aamir Khan’s 2008 hit Ghajini. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles.
It outdid Salman’s previous Eid outing, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which opened at Rs. 15 crore, but fell short of Tiger Zinda Hai (2023), which debuted with Rs. 33 crore. The film features a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and more in prominent roles. Keep an eye out for further updates!
