As the excitement for War 2’s release is at an all-time high, a new media report states that the high-octane spy espionage thriller has received its runtime and certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in leading roles. If a report by News18 is to be believed, the movie has been confirmed to be Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe’s longest film.
According to the media publications, a week and a half prior to its release, the CBFC has given the movie a U/A certification. Quoting Pinkvilla’s source, close to the movie’s production, News18 reports that the final runtime of War 2 stands at two hours and 53 minutes, which is 173 minutes. However, the runtime doesn’t include the end credit sequence, which is expected to be certified separately later this week.
