In the world of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan has long been hailed for his exceptional dedication and commitment to his craft. The latest revelation by his Fighter co-star, Akshay Oberoi, provides a glimpse into the actor’s relentless pursuit of perfection. In an interview with Mashable India, Oberoi shared insights into Roshan’s and the cast’s intense preparation for their upcoming film, shedding light on the meticulous approach they took to perfect even the smallest details.
Akshay Oberoi, who plays Sqaudron leader Basheer “Bash” Khan, shared a fascinating behind-the-scenes detail about Hrithik Roshan’s preparation for their film Fighter. According to Oberoi, Roshan practiced his walk a staggering 100 times, showcasing a level of dedication that goes beyond the ordinary.
He said, “I spent a lot of time watching those guys when they stand even. And the movies are a lot about that style and glamour as well as the emotions and stuff. And of course when you’re saying Hrithik practiced just to walk a hundred times, you get inspired and you make sure you’re also trying to do it.”
Oberoi added, “He practices everything a hundred times and you might think he doesn’t need to but you try and tell him that. I’ve never seen anyone so perfect at everything and then on top of that he works so hard.”
The actor also spoke about his preparation for the role of Bash and said, “I knew I got the character and how he should be from within but the outward was a bit hard. Particularly given like Karan Singh Grover and Hrithik Roshan’s body.The way they stand, the way they sit, the way they speak. I was on that diet, I was on that intermittent fasting thing which I still do.”
Meanwhile, after seeing a dip in collections in the second week, the collections of Fighter are back on track. The film almost made 80 percent of the previous day’s collection. The total domestic collection of the film in India now stands at Rs 162.75 crore. Fighter also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and was directed by Siddharth Anand.
