Just a few weeks after welcoming his daughter with his star wife Deepika Padukone, actor Ranveer Singh made his first public appearance at an event hosted by the Reliance Foundation and Nita Ambani.
This event, named United in Triumph, celebrated the victory of India’s Olympians and Paralympians. Singh greeted the photographers as he arrived at the event. In one of the videos from the event, Singh is seen greeting the paparazzi and expressing his joy at becoming a father.
The video, which has gone viral, shows Singh expressing his happiness with folded hands as the paparazzi congratulate him on becoming a father. After posing for the pictures, Singh walks towards the paparazzi to shake their hands. As Singh greets them, he exclaims with happiness, “Baap ban gaya re!”

Singh’s warm demeanor has won hearts on social media. One user commented, “So down to earth,” and another said, “Awee, new daddy.”
For those who don’t know, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a daughter, on 8 September 2024, almost six years after their marriage in 2018. They shared the news in a joint Instagram post featuring a postcard that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh will soon reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which will also feature new mom Deepika Padukone, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor. Additionally, Singh is also preparing for Aditya Dhar’s untitled action thriller, co-starring Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, for which he has reportedly gained 15 kilograms. He was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opposite Alia Bhatt.
