BTS fans, ARMYs, are over the moon as the seven members have been returning one by one after their 18 months of military training. June 11, 2025, became a special day for the fans as the members Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook returned home after completing their military service. However, the day quickly turned scary as a 30-year-old woman, reportedly from China, tried to break into the latter’s house.
Quoting a report by The Korea Times, News18 stated that the Chinese fan was caught on CCTV trying to enter the code at the boy band’s youngest member, fondly known as the Golden Maknae of the group’s front door. The woman was reportedly arrested by the authorities from Seoul’s Yongsan Police Station on June 12 for trying to trespass on the property.

Confirming the incident, BigHit Music on June 30, released an official statement stating that they are helping the police in the investigation and have given them the CCTV footage as proof. Quoted by the media publication, they added, “We report stalkers immediately to police and file restraining orders. There will be no leniency for any acts that violate the artists’ privacy and safety.”
Through their statement, they added that they are taking legal action against people spreading lies, posting harmful comments, and harassing the members online. Some of the cases have reportedly led to fines, and others are still ongoing.

A part of their statement read, “Our company is consistently and firmly taking legal action against malicious activities such as defamation, the spread of false information, sexual harassment, and insults carried out online, in order to protect the rights and interests of BTS and to ensure that they can carry out their activities in a stable environment.”
“We are also immediately reporting stalking behavior toward BTS members to the police so that offenders can be apprehended on the spot. Alongside this, we are filing restraining orders as needed. We are taking a zero-tolerance approach to any actions that threaten the artists’ privacy and safety,” they added.
BigHit Music’s official note concluded by stating, “If you discover any suspected cases of rights infringement against BTS—such as malicious posts or IP violations—please report them through the HYBE Artist Rights Protection Report website (protect.hybecorp.com). For more effective legal processing, we recommend submitting full-screen PC captures or PDF files rather than mobile screenshots. Please ensure that important details such as URLs, usernames, post content, and capture dates are clearly visible.
