It appears that Ibrahim Ali Khan has found himself in a sticky situation after reportedly replying to a Pakistani film critic’s review of his first film, Nadaaniyan. Tamur Iqbal, a film critic from Pakistan, recently posted on Instagram, claiming that Ibrahim had sent him a direct message in response to his review. According to the chat screenshot shared by Tamur, Ibrahim sharply criticized the reviewer for his negative remarks.
As per the screenshot, Irabhim’s message read, “Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of shit I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of scum.”
Tamur’s reply read, “Hahahahaha see that’s my man. This is the guy I want to see in the movie. Not that fake cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey yes that nose job comment was in bad taste. Rest I totally own up. Massive fan of your dad, don’t let him down.” It should be noted that we couldn’t independently verify the text exchange. While Tamur’s review is not available on his Instagram, it is clear from his reply and the comments on his post that he took a dig at the actor’s appearance.
Tamur also shared that Ibrahim has blocked him on Instagram. Tamur and Ibrahim’s exchange has left the internet divided. Some Redditors believe that Tamur “wanted his 2 mins of fame, that’s why he tagged media houses so this could become news and he edited the review regarding nose job so he came across as innocent”. Others believe Ibrahim shouldn’t have responded as “if he is not thick-skinned, I don’t think BW is for him!”
