Recently, Diljit Dosanjh shared a series of candid behind-the-scenes photos from his upcoming film, Sardaarji 3, on his Instagram account. Earlier reports had indicated that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir was set to be part of the project. However, in the wake of the brutal Pahalgam attack, a ban was imposed on all Pakistani artists in the film industry.
As a result, it was reported that Hania Aamir had been dropped from the Dosanjh movie. Despite this, some sharp-eyed fans are now speculating that Hania Aamir might still be involved in the film, claiming to have spotted her in the BTS photos shared by the singer.
Adding to the buzz, some netizens even suggested that Dosanjh was wearing a t-shirt featuring Hania Aamir’s face. Diljit Dosanjh, however, has subtly addressed and dismissed these rumors to clear the air.
On 8 June 2025, Diljit posted a collection of images from the Sardaarji 3 sets on his Instagram. Fans of the singer flooded the comments section of the carousel post, pointing out that the graphic on Diljit’s t-shirt appeared to resemble Hania Aamir’s face. In response to the growing speculation, the singer took to his Instagram story to share a clear photo of his outfit.
The image revealed that the t-shirt actually displayed the face of Michelle Yeoh, the Oscar-winning actress known for her role in “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” With this photo, Diljit effectively put an end to rumors suggesting Hania Aamir’s image was printed on his clothing.
The social media speculation surrounding Sardaarji 3 wasn’t limited to Diljit’s wardrobe choices. Fans also noticed a woman resembling Hania Aamir in a group photo shared by the singer. Some even speculated that the woman in a black saree, seen being hugged by Diljit, was the Pakistani actress.
However, there has been no official confirmation to support these claims. The teaser for Sardaarji 3 is set to be released soon, which is expected to clarify all speculations. The film, also starring Neeru Bajwa, is slated to hit theaters on 27 June.
