Karan Johar’s popular talk show, Koffee With Karan is a one-stop destination for all the Bollywood gossip. It is also an excellent opportunity for celebrities, especially female actors, to dress up in glamourous gowns. However, Esha Deol was one of the few actresses who ditched the glamorous outfit to wear a traditional attire on the talk show.
Recently, in an interview with India Today, Esha Deol recalled making an appearance on the show. She revealed her decision to wear a simple traditional outfit was her father veteran actor Dharmendra. She said, ”I have to go back and watch that interview because I don’t really remember what I said. I remember it being a fun, spontaneous interview and the main thing I remember is also that I wore a salwar-kurta”.

She also revealed that Karan Johar was amused by her outfit. She continued, ”I was like, ‘Maybe dad watches this, I better be well dressed’. So I made Rocky make a salwar-kurta for me.” Rocky S is a celebrity fashion designer.
Esha Deol also revealed that she does not remember most of the things she said on the talk show. However, she is aware that she doesn’t resonate with most of those philosophies now. ”I don’t know why I spoke and gave so much philosophy then. I am getting myself in trouble with what I said then. I don’t think it resonates to what I am today,” Esha Deol admitted.
