We have already moved to the Android 16 beta 3 version which means a few more versions later, we could have the first public release for all users. The stable version of Android 16 is anticipated to launch in the second quarter of 2025. Earlier reports had suggested a mid-March timeline for the beta 3 update and it is actually here now if you have the right compatible device.

Google seems to have hit the Platform Stability phase with the Android 16 beta versions, which means the company is happy with the overall performance of the upcoming software and now will focus on putting the finishing touches before the full release is ready for the users.

Android 16 Beta 3 Features: What’s New
Even though Android 16 beta 3 has reached some level of stability, we still get a chance to try out some new features that will be rolling out in the coming months.
The new version gets special focus on accessibility features, and one of the most important additions is Android 16 supporting Auracast Bluetooth, which lets you access Bluetooth LE audio earbuds or aids to get direct audio feed in public places like the airport, and even classrooms.

We are not sure if the actual tool will be available with Android 16 but the control over which apps can access devices on your local network will be an understated privacy push that people would soon realise. The beta 4 version is likely to bring some new AI tools and we can’t wait to try them out.
The company is also rumoured to be busy with the Pixel 9a launch in the market some time later this month. The new iPhone 16E rival is expected to get 7 OS upgrades like its premium brothers and get flagship Tensor chipset.
