Filmmaker and actress Kangana Ranaut made her foray into politics in June 2024. She is currently serving as an MP, Lok Sabha, from Mandi. Having attended a political event recently in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, she expressed her disbelief and shock while recalling getting an exorbitant electricity bill of Rs 1 lakh for her Manali house. She added that she doesn’t even reside there, wondering how the amount can be that high. The Tanu Weds Manu actress also criticised the Himachal Pradesh government for sending her the expensive bill.
