The upcoming movie Don 3 has seen some big changes in its cast. Kiara Advani, who was supposed to star as the female lead with Ranveer Singh, left the project after welcoming her first child, a daughter, with Sidharth Malhotra. Kriti Sanon has now taken her place.
There are also rumors about who will play the villain. Vikrant Massey has left the film, and now Karan Veer Mehra, the winner of Bigg Boss 18, is a top choice for the role. A source close to IANS said, “The offer was hard for Karan to refuse.” While nothing is confirmed yet, the filmmakers are impressed with Karan’s recent performance in Silaa. Earlier, there were rumors that Vijay Deverakonda was considered for the villain role, but he declined after his film Liger failed at the box office. Vikrant Massey also left, reportedly because he felt the role wasn’t big enough. Now, Karan Veer Mehra might take on the iconic Don villain role.

Kriti Sanon is confirmed as the new female lead after Kiara’s exit. Don 3, produced by Blue Lotus, Stark Entertainment, and Zee Studios, is set to start filming in late 2025.
Karan Veer Mehra began his career on television with shows like Remix, Pavitra Rishta, and Havan. He gained popularity over time, often playing intense or supporting roles on TV and digital platforms. Winning Bigg Boss 18 boosted his fame and opened new opportunities in films.
Excel Entertainment has confirmed Kriti Sanon as the leading lady but has not commented on rumors about Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra making cameo appearances. The film is expected to begin shooting in January 2026.
