Kareena Kapoor Khan has been served a notice by the Madhya Pradesh High Court regarding her pregnancy memoir titled “Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible.” This notice comes after an advocate raised objections to the use of the word “bible” in the book’s title.
Advocate Christopher Anthony initiated the petition, calling for legal action against Kareena Kapoor Khan and the sellers of the book. He specifically highlighted the use of the word “bible,” stating that it could potentially hurt the sentiments of the Christian community, NDTV reported.
Anthony argues that comparing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy journey to the Bible is inappropriate and disrespectful to Christianity.

In response to the petition, the High Court has summoned Kareena Kapoor Khan to provide an explanation for the choice of the word “bible” in the title. Notices have also been issued to the sellers of the book, following Anthony’s request for a ban on its sale.
Anthony, a social worker from Jabalpur, alleges that Kareena Kapoor Khan used the word “bible” as a means to garner attention and publicity for her book. He views this as an attempt to exploit the revered status of the Christian holy book.
“Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-To-Be” was published in 2021 and offers insights into the actor’s pregnancy journey, along with expert advice on various aspects such as diet, fitness, self-care, and nursery preparation for expecting mothers.
