Businesses will now be encouraged to send only high-quality, engaging, and personalised messages, reducing the chances of spam-like interactions. WhatsApp Introduces New Tools For Business Users
Message Opt-In: Users now have control over how they connect with businesses. They can choose to receive messages through business websites, in-store sign-ups, or directly via WhatsApp — ensuring only interested users are contacted.
Blocking and Reporting: WhatsApp clearly indicates business accounts and lets users block or report them at any time. Users can also specify reasons for reporting, such as irrelevant information or unsolicited messages.
Message Feedback: New “Interested” and “Not Interested” buttons allow users to easily respond to business messages. These tools help WhatsApp identify and minimise irrelevant or spammy content.
Custom Chat Settings: Users can toggle message permissions on or off anytime, giving them full control over business communications and keeping their chats clutter-free.

Policy Enforcement: Businesses violating WhatsApp policies will face gradual messaging restrictions. Repeated violations could lead to a complete ban on sending messages, ensuring accountability.
