Actress Rashmika Mandanna gained pan-India recognition and became a household name because of her role in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. She was termed “national crush” for her sweet and bubbly nature. Currently busy establishing herself as a credible actor in the Indian entertainment industry, she has never shied away from expressing her thoughts and sharing her experiences. Having been in the public eye for quite some time now, she recently opened up about facing scrutiny for her kind behaviour.
Speaking on the topic during a recent appearance on Snap With Stars, she candidly opened up about how the judgment takes an emotional toll on her. Calling herself a “very emotional person and a very real person,” she expressed that he can’t show her real behaviour to the world, as they think it is all fake. Quoted by News18, she added, “I can’t really show it out because people think kindness is fake, kindness is weakness… they say she’s doing it for the cameras. The more real you are, the more unacceptable it becomes.”

Despite the backlash and scrutiny, she continues to consciously choose to be kind, not to gain praise or public validation but for herself. In her words, it is something she chooses to do even though it doesn’t get her anything.
The 29-year-old actress shared, “I’ve dealt with a lot of negative PR and trolling.” However, that doesn’t stop her from being kind. “If you can’t be kind, then just don’t say anything. Let people breathe. Why do you have to suffocate people? Why do you have to strangle people to grow? No, let all of us grow. It’s fine. The world’s so big, there’s room for all of us,” Rashmika added.

She concluded her point by stating that the cycle of healing past hurt feels never-ending, “I feel like I’m in this loop of constantly healing through negativity, and then something happens again.”
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava and AR Murugadoss directorial Sikandar in Bollywood. She was also in Dhanush and Nagarjuna starrer Kuberaa. She will be next seen in The Girlfriend, her Telugu film, Myasaa, and the much-awaited Maddock Films’ vampire fantasy film Thama, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
