Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s recent appearance at an event in Mumbai has sparked health concerns amongst fans. The 37-year-old actor was seen at the Anamika Khanna X H&M collection launch in the town. The Family Man (2021) actress graced the event decked in a black crop top outfit. However, the internet was stunned and divided over Samantha’s radical transformation with weight loss. For the unversed the cinestar has been very open about her autoimmune struggle and various treatments for myositis. She shares her health journey over social media as well. In October 2022, the actor uploaded a picture from the hospital, appended with a heartfelt note about her diagnosis and “accepting this vulnerability.” Samantha wrote that she was hoping to post it after remission but “it is taking a little longer” than she hoped for.

The internet was divided over being overtly concerned about Sammy’s transformation. While a few users remarked that they didn’t like her appearance as it was “just bad styling and wrong pose,” others jumped in on her defense, stating that “she oozes boss vibes,” and “we should leave her alone,” citing her autoimmune condition. “Women go through hell…” remarked another user, stating how they struggle with a myriad of health issues while hustling harder despite the pain.
