Coldplay played a concert in Mumbai on Sunday (19 January 2025) night at the DY Patil Stadium, attracting huge crowds. Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal was there, and posted about the amazing night on Instagram the next day. She was with her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, and her 70-year-old father, Bishwajit Ghoshal, for a special family night out.
Ghoshal posted pictures and videos from the Coldplay concert, showing how much fun she had. She enjoyed songs like A Sky Full of Stars, Fix You, and Paradise. One video showed Salim Merchant was also there. Ghoshal took photos with her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, which made the night even better.
In one video, Ghoshal was walking to the concert venue and playfully said, “It’s a lot of work to come to a concert. It’s better to just be on the stage.” Her husband, Shiladitya, mentioned she was climbing uphill, and she laughed in agreement. For the event, Shreya chose a simple outfit, wearing a blue and white top with black trousers.
Sharing the post, Ghoshal wrote, “Just pure love for Coldplay. Swipe till the last video to know everything. My second concert of the amazing Chris Martin and his band! And you turned your magic on for Mumbai and how! It was a spectacular experience. Couldn’t stop my tears for Fix You! My 70+ year old dad @bishwajitghoshal loved the concert so much! Thank you for letting me and @shiladitya relive all our memories once again, which have ruled our lives growing up.”
Coldplay began their Music of the Spheres World Tour, with three shows at D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on 18, 19, and upcoming 21 January 2025. They will also play at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 and 26 January 2025. This is their first time back in India since the 2016 Global Citizen Festival.
