Rajkummar Rao and Sharaddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Atank is smashing records and winnings praises from audience across the country. It seems to have captivated Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan as well. In a post on X, he hailed the movie for ‘setting new benchmarks.”

Movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that Stree 2 is close to entering the Rs 600 crore club and is now the top Hindi film of all time, according to Maddock Films. Notably, the movie has crossed Shah Rukh Kahn-starrer Jawan’s earning Rs 582 crore, scripting history as the only movie to reach this mark in one language.

Stree 2 is reportedly a part of Maddock Films’s supernatural universe which also includes movies like Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and Munjya. The film, also starring Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi is sequel of the 2018 movie which won critical acclaim.
Interestingly, producer Dinesh Vijan even before the release of Stree 2 revealed in July earlier this year that the third installment is already in the works. Although, details about the release is yet to be announced.
