Three young boys, aged 13, 11, and 9, who went missing from Delhi on July 25, 2025, were found safe at a railway station in Nashik, Maharashtra, on July 29, 2025, four days after leaving home to meet Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
The boys, who study at the same school in Delhi’s Sadar Bazar area, had connected with someone named Wahid from Jalna, Maharashtra, through an online gaming platform. Wahid claimed he had met Salman Khan before and could arrange a meeting with the actor, prompting the boys to travel to Jalna without telling anyone, with plans to continue to Mumbai.

When Wahid learned that the boys’ families and the police were looking for them, he canceled the meeting. The boys then changed their plans and got off at a railway station in Nashik, where police found them. During the investigation, police discovered a handwritten note at one of the boys’ homes mentioning their plan to meet Wahid in Jalna. CCTV footage near their homes showed them heading toward Ajmeri Gate, indicating they likely boarded a train at New Delhi Railway Station.
Police analyzed train routes and suspected the boys took the Sachkhand Express to Maharashtra. Delhi Police worked with Railway Police and Jalna police, sending teams to various locations. A search at Wahid’s home in Jalna found nothing, but brief activity on one of the boys’ phones helped police locate them in Nashik.
