Apple TV+ works using the Apple ID but the start of 2025 gives you free access to the shows and movies on the platform.

Apple TV+ will be streaming free of cost during the first weekend of January 2025. Yes! You read that right. Taking to Instagram, the streaming service from the tech giant made the announcement by sharing a collage video that included glimpses from some of the Apple Original films and web shows. “This weekend, see for yourself. Stream for free Jan 4-5.”
This means, that whether you want to watch Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Hijack, or get caught up on Severance but don’t want to pay for Apple TV Plus, now is your chance to view anything from its library without the requirement of a subscription fee.
The limited-time offer from the streaming giant comes ahead of the arrival of popular Apple Original content, including Severance Season 2, Mythic Quest and Prime Target, all of which will premiere in January 2025.
Apple TV+ Free Streaming: How It Works
You need to open their Apple TV+ app, which comes pre-installed on all Apple devices and start binge-watching. During the free period, the users will have access to Apple Originals, including award-winning shows, gripping dramas, several documentaries, children’s entertainment, comedies and more.
The company offers three months of free Apple TV+ services on the purchase of any Apple product including iPhones, iMac, MacBooks or iPads. Monthly subscribers can also get a seven-day trial of the streaming service before signing up for the subscription, which starts at Rs. 99 per month. The TV+ services are also included in the Apple One plan, which costs Rs.195 a month and includes access to 200GB of iCloud data, Apple Arcade, and Apple Music.
Additionally, Apple TV+ lets users share subscription plans with up to five family members and one of the most standout features of the streaming giant is that it comes completely ad-free.
As per Techradar, this move by the tech giant comes as an effort for a global promotion, which means you may take advantage of the services in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and any other country where Apple TV Plus is accessible.
